The Dress
This is kind of a bad image. This is what happens when I watch too much "Say Yes to the Dress" and I get the urge to try my dress on. Now it's an understandable urge. I bought the dress in 2006, and I hadn't had it on since my final fitting in 2007. Since then I've gained and lost 30 lbs, so I wasn't 100% sure it'd still fit well. I've been waiting for months for someone like my mom to come visit so I could try it on again and get some pics. However, things were never ideal for that, and I got impatient. So I took a shower and dryed my hair, then I grabbed the camera and wrangled the dress. There have been times that I've lamented about not having a ball gown, but after trying to wrangle what seems like 30 layers of tulle, I've realized once again, ball gowns are not for me. The train is a little caddywompus, but try straightening a train by yourself... and in less than the 10 seconds of delay I had on my camera to get the picture.
All in all, after having the dress for 5 years, I still LOVE it! I suppose that's a good sign. I can't wait to wear it down the aisle!
